Grimes

Claire Elise Boucher is a Canadian singer-songwriter and musician. The early work of her can be described as "lo-fi R&B to futuristic dance-pop",[4which draws influences from hip-hop, electronic and rock. Her lyrics often touch on feminist and science fiction themes. She's released five studio albums. Grimes was raised in Vancouver, and then moved to Montreal around 2000. Grimes started releasing her music as a solo act from the mid 2000s. Two albums were released through Arbutus Records in 2010, Geidi Primes and Halfaxa in 2010. Following her joining 4AD her popularity grew with the charts through Visions the third studio album. Visions features the singles "Genesis" as well as "Oblivion" and was awarded the Canadian music industry's Juno Award for Electronic Album of the Year. [5] Following this, the fourth album of her studio, Art Angels, was released in 2015 and received high praise from critics as several publications called it the top album of the year. Miss Anthropocene was her fifth album. Grimes is an official judge of Alter Ego, a music contest. She was a part in the Cyberpunk 2077 2020 role-playing game. Grimes Grimes Grimes
